About Me – Russ Venvil

Hi, I’m Russ Venvil. I’ve been involved in the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) sector since 1995, after completing my degree in Vehicle Design. Over the years, I’ve built a deep understanding of what is, and isn’t, possible when it comes to creating practical, effective WAV solutions for everyday life.

The industry has evolved significantly, with modern converters now delivering some truly impressive results by focusing more than ever on individual customer needs. While the market has expanded and technology has advanced, one thing remains constant: the dimensions of the wheelchair and its user. This "dimensional envelope" still defines what vehicles are viable for conversion and which unfortunately cannot be adapted to meet essential accessibility requirements.

With more options now available than ever before, I use my experience to guide individuals, families, and professionals towards the right mobility solution, offering honest, knowledgeable support to help make what is often a complex decision much easier.
